The prints included here are a sample of multi-figured images that exist within a broader landscape. The approach for each is similar, I have been fascinated with the imaginative scope of works such of this. it may be born of listening to REM as a young man and listening to their multi-layered songs that I could not quite make sense of. Illusions, allegories, and associations are constructed, purposely, yet allowing space for the viewer to make connections on their own.

Although similar each work is radically different and informed by different ideas. They do share a connection with the world. The two pictures here are from a series of big Blue human landscapes. Others on this page are specifically political, others a social comment, some are small, some dry-points, most large intricate aquatints. In the end it is difficult to have them be the same as my imagination can only construct, at most, a few a year. So the works change with my interests and the things in the world that engage me.
